If you are a prospective volunteer, team member, missions pastor, sending or receiving organisation, we've put this online platform together with you in mind, and we're so glad that you're here.

This platform is our way of inviting you to be part of the conversation and community of Christians around the world who are committed to carving out new, effective and more ethical expressions of short-term missions, reflecting on past mistakes and doing our level best not to repeat them, thinking deeply, asking hard questions and being open to being challenged.

This is a much broader community than just ACC International and we welcome you to it.

You won't find much in the way of a prescriptive list of do's and don'ts on this platform. Instead we've developed a decision making framework with Christian ethics at the centre. It will provide you with a structured way of thinking through what constitutes 'good' and 'right' (the basis of ethics) in short-term missions (STM) in your context.

As iron sharpens iron, we hope this will challenge you and help you refine your practice, and in turn, that your new and innovative expressions of ethical short-term missions will add greater depth to the community at large and bring new examples and learning to the forefront.
